This lecture by artist and curator Nikita Nomerz explores the diverse approaches, techniques, and styles within street art. Attendees will trace how this form of artistic expression emerged and evolved over the decades — from early graffiti to contemporary practices. Using examples from around the world, the talk will highlight key trends that have shaped the evolution of street art.
A special part of the event will be dedicated to the artist’s personal experience. Nomerz will speak about his own artistic journey and present his new book Parts of a Whole. The publication focuses on a series of the same name, which began with street interventions and large-scale murals, and later expanded into studio-based projects.
