Laurent Baffie — “TOC TOC”

The original French title of the play, “TOC TOC,” comes from the medical term Troubles Obsessionnels Compulsifs — Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

It is the story of six people living with different obsessive-compulsive disorders. They arrive for therapy with a renowned psychologist, only to unexpectedly find themselves together in the same waiting room.

When they discover that the doctor has been delayed indefinitely, chaos begins to unfold.

Behind situations that may seem funny at first, however, lies profound human pain...

Through a series of comic, chaotic, absurd, and dramatic events, the play explores tolerance, acceptance, and our ability to embrace one another as we are.
