Description

Music ahead of its time.
Words that stay in the soul.
The time has come to once again feel what The King left behind!

On May 2, at the Tbilisi Concert Hall, organized by SPARKS, we will relive the musical legacy of legendary Georgian artist Irakli Charkviani.

A pioneer of Georgian alternative music, Irakli Charkviani remains one of the most beloved and influential musicians in Georgia. His musical journey began in 1976 with the band “Arish”, followed by his work in the 1990s with “Taxi”, alongside Dada Dadiani, Bichiko Osipov, and Kaha Kikabidze. He also played in “Children’s Medicine”, and later took part in the “Daira” project.

Over time, his music only gains value and continues to resonate across generations. His impact on not just music, but modern Georgian culture as a whole, is profound. Today, “The King” is still one of the most widely known and sung Georgian artists — even by the youth.

On May 2, together with some of Georgia’s most talented musicians, we’ll celebrate the genius of Irakli Charkviani once again.
