After his divorce, Istanbul photographer Mahmut became withdrawn, dividing his life between solitary walks by the sea and watching Tarkovsky films. At this moment, his rural cousin Yusuf bursts in, full of youthful provincial energy, chatting about plans to get a job on a ship and earn a ton of dollars.
