Description

On August 7, KIBE welcomes Adriana Lopez, the Colombian artist based in Barcelona who has been one of the leading figures in electronic music and club culture for more than 20 years.

Her hypnotic and dynamic techno has been released on renowned labels including PoleGroupSemanticaStroboscopic ArtefactsModularzMORD, as well as her own imprint, Grey Report.

She will be joined by KHIDI residents Boyd Schidt and Dual Pistols.

A pioneer of Tbilisi's electronic music scene, Boyd Schidt has spent more than two decades shaping his signature sound—a dark, groove-driven style of techno rich in texture.

Dual Pistols is known for deep rhythms, powerful percussion, and immersive, high-intensity sets.

The lineup also features Seqta and Comethisfar.

Seqta blends acid trance, shamanic drums, and progressive breaks, while Comethisfar, a KIBE resident, reinterprets different styles of modern techno through his unique artistic vision.

The night will also include a live performance by Staox, a rapidly rising artist born in Batumi and based in Tbilisi, whose music combines energetic rhythms with deep atmospheric soundscapes.

Location

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
