The Tbilisi-based Ursa Major Choir (named after the constellation) has performed to sold-out audiences in its first week of ticket sales and has been involved in film soundtracks for Hollywood musicals and charitable projects.
Ursa Major brings together over 30 unique voices from 6 nationalities. These differences enrich the choir’s sound, while a shared passion for music serves as their guiding star.
The upcoming program features European music in Latin, English, French, and other languages, by composers from the UK, USA, Italy, France, Estonia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Poland.
Church of the Holy Spirit — a Catholic church in Batumi, Georgia. It belongs to the Apostolic Administration of the Caucasus.
Previously, Batumi had a Catholic church built in 1903. During Soviet rule, the church was confiscated, and after Georgia gained independence, it was returned to the Georgian Catholic Church.
