On May 1st, KHIDI will host Cirkle. Based in Athens, Cirkle has cultivated a distinct sonic identity rooted in emotion, sophistication, and a deep understanding of the dancefloor. Known for his immersive DJ sets, Cirkle sees each performance as an opportunity to take the crowd on a timeless journey, balancing subtle introspection with peak-time functionality. Joining him is a Brazilian DJ and producer, Vinicius Honorio. Starting in Rio de Janeiro as a DnB selector before settling into London’s technosphere, Vinicius pens dark and dubby textures. Delivering releases on his own label, Liberta Records, as well as on the likes of Blueprint, Figure Music, Mord, and Token, Vinicius’ productions display his penchant for trippy and foreboding techno while encapsulating the energy and passion that have come to be synonymous with his style. Completing the lineup are KHIDI residents and standout names of the local scene: NEUX and Dual Pistols Sioni Hi-Fi Soundsystem will take over G2 with a “Trojan Bass” session, the first handcrafted Georgian Dub & Bass soundsystem, originally built in the UK. Run by an extended family of sound enthusiasts, Sioni Hi-Fi began in London in 2017 before relocating to Tbilisi, where it now focuses on Dub, Roots, Reggae, Jungle, and Bass music in true soundsystem form The showcase features Juno, a pioneer of Georgia’s bass and soundsystem culture with over two decades of experience, known for deep dub selections and exclusive material. Sumo is a Tbilisi-based selector from the local underground scene, known for fluid, genre-spanning sets across house, breaks, and deep dubstep music. sTia is a key figure in Georgia’s bass scene and a driving force behind Creative Education Studio, with precise selections rooted in DnB and UK sounds. CHROMIE represents a new generation shaped by grime, bass, and soundsystem culture, working as a DJ, producer, and MC, bringing vocal energy and presence to the performance.
