KHIDI: ANCIENT METHODS, PARRISH SMITH, PURITAN B2B

On January 2nd, KHIDI welcomes back Ancient Methods, a KHIDI resident who has made a significant contribution to shaping the club’s sonic identity. He is the founder of the Persephonic Sirens imprint and a member of influential projects, including Eschaton (with Orphx), Ugandan Methods (with Regis), and others. Ancient Methods conveys profound human emotion through his enigmatic style, weaving rhythm and sentiment into a powerful narrative. Joining him is Parrish Smith, a Dutch DJ, producer, singer, and visual artist, whose unique sound blends punk, rock, techno, and rhythmic experimental music. Emotion and intensity are at the core of his art, through which he challenges contemporary elitist techno biases. Completing the line up with a B2B session are Puritan, a resident DJ at KHIDI, esteemed producer, live performer, and founder of Tbilisi’s renowned label Murder TBS, and Downwell, an electronic music project by local DJ, producer, and live performer, Persephonic Sirens label member, and one half of the project Initial Light. G2 will host a pioneering German DJ, producer, and Berghain resident Fiedel with a special house set. Beginning his musical path in the vibrant landscape of the mid-1980s, his sound has been shaped by a wide and ever-evolving spectrum of artists and genres. Joining him is Sevda, a progressive trance/house project by Ladouka Ninua, also known as OTHR. Drawing from years of experience in the industry, Ladouka has cultivated an impressive musical knowledge, which he masterfully showcases in his DJ sets, live performances, and studio productions. Completing the G2 lineup is Alexandra, a Tbilisi-based DJ, whose musical palette includes minimal, deep tech, house, and techno-house. Driven by her desire to connect through melody, Alexandra sees music as a powerful language that transcends words.
