A unique concert will be held on April 22 at 20:00, where the internationally recognized German organist, harpsichordist and conductor, professor at the Linz and Stuttgart State Universities of Music, Jörg Halubeck, who is considered one of the best performers in the world on medieval instruments - the organ and harpsichord, will perform before the audience.
Jörg Halubeck, one of the greatest scholars of medieval music, has discovered several forgotten operas and many musical works from the Baroque period.
In 2004, after winning the 14th International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig, Jörg Halubeck implemented a large-scale project called “Bach’s Organ Landscapes,” within the framework of which he studied the traditions of organ building in various cities in Germany, came into contact with historical instruments from Bach’s time, He explored the influence of the cultural characteristics of these cities on the sounds of Johann Sebastian Bach's organ music. Jörg Halubeck, together with a video crew, traveled to 10 German cities, played the organs where Johann Sebastian Bach performed his brilliant works, and released this unique musical project as a series of CD albums with the BERLIN CLASSICS record label.
In 2007, Jörg Halubeck performed all of Johann Sebastian Bach's organ works in concerts. He participates in Bach festivals around the world and also performs as a harpsichordist with various orchestras on concert stages around the world. In 2008, he founded the famous Baroque orchestra Il Gusto Barocco.
