Jazz and Wine Kakheti

This year, Kakheti will host the Jazz & Wine Festival for the tenth time. The festival will traditionally open at Tsinandali Estate at 1:00 PM with a wine tasting. More than 40 Georgian wine producers will participate in this year’s festival.

Inspired by the legendary television show “Soul Train,” SOULTRAIN is a high-energy live music experience celebrating the golden era of Soul, Funk and Motown. The project is driven by JJ’s Hausband, a renowned Swiss funk powerhouse led by drummer and musical director J.J. Flueck, and fronted by electrifying soul vocalist Reggie Saunders (USA).

Throughout its history, “Soul Train” featured numerous legendary artists, including Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Tina Turner, The Jackson 5, Barry White and many other influential musicians.

Sugarpie and the Candymen - The Energetic Italian Sound of Jazz and Swing

Italian group Sugarpie and the Candymen is a distinctive presence on the contemporary jazz scene, combining elements of swing, jazz, blues, soul and rock’n’roll. The group is particularly known for its creative approach to music, transforming iconic songs from music history into original swing and jazz interpretations. Their repertoire features songs associated with legendary artists and bands such as The Beatles, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, U2, The Doors and many others.

Fred Wesley Generations - Continuing the Legacy of Funk and Jazz

Fred Wesley Generations is a project built around the musical legacy of Fred Wesley, one of the most influential figures in American funk and jazz, renowned as a trombonist, composer and arranger. Wesley is particularly celebrated for his work with James Brown and The J.B.’s, where his distinctive trombone playing and arrangements played a significant role in shaping the classic sound of funk. “To me happiness is when Fred Wesley plays his horn” - JAMES BROWN. Wesley has collaborated with legendary musicians and groups, including George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, the Count Basie Orchestra, and Maceo Parker.
