An unforgettable evening for Georgian listeners at the Alexander Griboyedov Drama Theater in Tbilisi - Italian and Neapolitan opera!

A unique concert will be held on February 27th at 20:00. Be a grand part of the winter concert season at the Tbilisi Conservatory, where the internationally recognized Italian tenor Fabio Andreotti will perform for the audience! An extraordinary musical event that will take music lovers on a journey to an unforgettable Italian opera, from the historical stage of the A.Griboyedov Drama Theater to the arias of famous operas by Giacomo Puccini, Lucio Dalla, Gioacchino Rossini, Giovanni Capurro and other famous composers, alongside enchanting Neapolitan songs.


Fabio Andreotti - internationally known Italian tenor, born in Rome. He devoted himself to the study of vocals under the guidance of Italian masters Antonio Beyer and Gianni Raimondi. He made his professional debut in 2006 with Haydn's Salve Regina and soon after won first prize at the Francesco Albane Competition with Alfredo's aria from Verdi's Traviata.

In the first decade of the 21st century, he achieved significant success and global recognition - from Italy to South Korea and the USA. He played the main roles in such famous operas as ,,Rigoletto'', ,,La Bohème'', ''Madame Butterfly'', ,,Aida'', ,,Tosca'' and other masterpieces.

Together with the Italian tenor, the Vardel chamber orchestra will perform the program under the direction of Konstantine Eroyan.

Tbilisi State Russian Drama Theater named after A. Griboyedov - the first professional theater group in the Caucasus, the oldest Russian theater in the post-Soviet space. The theater was founded in Tbilisi on September 20, 1845 by the Governor of the Caucasus, Count M. At the request of Vorontsov. Many prominent people started their careers from the Griboyedov Theater. Since 1999, the theater has been directed by Avtandil Varsimashvili, laureate of the State Prize of Georgia. In 2013, the Griboedov Theater received the Theater Star Award in the nomination Best Russian Theater Abroad.
