International Wine Birth Day | Rtveli Festival

The International Wine Birth Day was established on the initiative of Shalva Khetsuriani, President of the Georgian Sommelier Association, and is celebrated annually in 75 member countries of the International Sommelier Association.

This year, the celebration in Georgia will take place in Kutaisi on September 11 with a variety of events:

• Exhibition “Colors of Hospitality”: Niko Pirosmani, Lado Gudiashvili, Elene Akhvlediani…

• Giorgi Sikharulidze’s unique performance “The Birth of Wine” and Nana Jorjadze’s film “Wine Zero Meridian”.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the National Wine Agency, the National Tourism Administration, and Kutaisi David the Builder International Airport.
