Hasan Helimishi's Painting Exhibition to Be Held in Batumi!

From July 17 to July 24, the Adjara Art Museum will host an exhibition dedicated to the renowned Georgian poet and painter Hasan Helimishi.

He gained recognition only after his death, when art historians from Tbilisi visited Sarpi and discovered his paintings in the local library.

Most of Helimishi's works are inspired by the sea, featuring themes such as fishing and sailing vessels. His paintings are valuable not only for their artistic merit but also as an important source of knowledge about the region's past.
