Description

Gudauri hosts an annual Skimo festival on 18th of February and is supported by the Mountain Trails Agency!

Gudauri Skimo Festival consists of the following two races, one of which must be chosen during registration:

Vertical race: 4.3km, 630m vertical gain
Individual race: 8.6km, 630m vertical gain

Both of the races start near Marco Polo hotel follow the trail #1. Afterwards both of the races join Gudaura Trail and then the New Trail. Vertical race finishes at the final station of Soliko cable car. This is the transition point for individual race participants as they will descend to the finish location near Marco Polo hotel from here.

Gudauri is a mountain-ski resort in Georgia, in the Kazbegi municipality, on the southern slopes of the Central Caucasus, 120 km from Tbilisi, at an altitude of 2196 m above sea level. The total length of ski tracks is 16 km. The ski season lasts from December to April.
