Homeland of wine – Georgia | Presentation of the Georgian-English book by Dato Turashvili

Georgians believe that Georgia is the homeland of wine. The photographs and the author's text collected in this book take the reader on a journey to a small country with a diverse culture of vines and tell in popular language about the phenomenon of Georgian wine, its history, how vines, vineyards and wine have become an integral part of our life. The presentation and lecture will be presented by "Chelti" winery. Listen to your favorite writer and drink your favorite wine. Dato Turashvili's Georgian-English book was printed by Sulakauri publishing house. The evening will start at 20:00.

Dato Turashvili, in this richly illustrated book, tries to show the reader his own and, in general, the emotional attitude of Georgians towards native grapes and wine, the history of which, as evidenced by artifacts, starts from the Neolithic period, about 8000 years ago.

Writers' bar H2S04 is located in Tbilisi, at Sion 8 (in the historical building of the old caravanserai). The concept and design of the bar is related to the first futuristic-Dadaist magazine in Georgia. The interior of the bar is completely decorated with this aesthetic.
