Georgian-Italian Musical Dialogue
From April 21–24, 2026, the city of Batumi will host distinguished musicians invited from different countries around the world and offer audiences unforgettable musical evenings with a diverse program. The project is implemented on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, with the aim of strengthening international cultural dialogue.

Conductor – Damiano Tognetti (Italy)
Conductor and violinist Damiano Tognetti graduated in 2001 from the Luigi Boccherini Music Institute in Lucca under the guidance of Maestro A. Bologna.
After studying at the Fiesole School of Music and winning several national competitions, he became a member of the Cherubini Orchestra of Piacenza, conducted by Riccardo Muti. At the same time, he collaborates with various orchestras, including those of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Camerata Fiorentina, the Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany Regional Orchestra Foundation, and the Regional Orchestras of Padua and Veneto in Venice.
Soloist – Fabio Furia (Bandoneon) – Italy
A world-class performer, composer, arranger, and accordionist. Fabio Furia is considered one of the most important bandoneon players in Europe.
