GAACI meets WAO

International Congress on Allergy, Asthma and Immunology
“GAACI meets WAO”

On May 2–5, 2026, Tbilisi will host the international congress on allergy, asthma and immunology “GAACI meets WAO”, a significant event for both Georgia and the global scientific community.

Within the framework of the congress, the World Allergy Organization (WAO) will celebrate its 75th anniversary at the invitation of the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (GAACI).

A joint scientific forum will be held at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, featuring:

1. The 15th Anniversary National Congress on Allergy, Asthma and Immunology;
2. The 11th European Congress on Asthma and COPD;
3. The 5th International Congress “COVID-19: Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation”;
4. A conference of the Georgian Association of Dermatovenereologists, the Georgian Mycologists Association, and the Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer;
5. A symposium of the Georgian Respiratory Association;
6. A symposium of the Georgian Pediatric Association.

The congress program includes:
lectures by Nobel Prize laureate Aaron Ciechanover, WAO president and former presidents, a joint symposium with the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and presentations by international speakers.

The congress will be held in person (Tbilisi, Georgia) and is dedicated to key dates in the field: World Asthma Day, World Allergy Week, and World Immunology Day.

Participation is possible with oral or poster presentations, or without a presentation.
