On April 14, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon-style talk with psychologist and cognitive behavioral therapist Anna Gvinianidze on the topic: “Functions of Imagination.”
Imagination is one of the key mechanisms of the human psyche. It creates a space where we process experiences, emotions, and relationships.
During the lecture, we will explore the role imagination plays in everyday life, how it can serve both as an inner refuge and as a kind of “rehearsal” space for behavior, decisions, and actions. We will also discuss how imaginative processes can either support or complicate our connection with ourselves, others, and the environment.
Special attention will be given to the role of imagination in the context of mental states and psychological challenges. We will also touch on a highly relevant modern topic — the interaction between human imagination and artificial intelligence, and the new opportunities and challenges this relationship creates.
🍰 Guests will enjoy a light buffet and a pleasant atmosphere
