Description

Photo exhibition "Military Kiev"
He will come to Georgia for the first time

In this regard, a round table will be held at the Ukrainian House on January 18 at 5:00 p.m., where the authors of the project will introduce the concept of the exhibition to the attending public and answer journalists' questions.

The photo exhibition "Military Kiev" tells about the heroic defense of the capital of Ukraine in February-March 2022, the consequences of terrifying air attacks and the life of brave Kievans in the conditions of a full-scale war.

The curators of the exhibition are Ukrainian journalists Natalia Ishchenko (Gumba) and Sergey Morugin.

Natalia Ishchenko (Gumba) is originally from Sukhumi. In the early 90s, he had to flee from his hometown to Ukraine. His young son Astamur Gumba was with him. In 2022, after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Astamuri volunteered to fight, and died heroically near Kharkiv in June of the same year. The exhibition, which will be seen by the Georgian audience, was created under the auspices of the Peace Foundation named after Astamur Gumba and is dedicated to his memory.
