Fireflies is a series of live ambient sessions held in unique, non-traditional locations. The concept is to create an atmospheric space for listening and observation.
The first session will take place in Tbilisi, at the Evangelical-Baptist Church, featuring four artists with live and audiovisual performances.
Ely Ann — a multimedia artist with a background in fashion design and architecture. Her work explores emotion through structure, glitch, and narrative form. Her debut EP was released on Obseqvivm Records, and she contributed to CES Records’ compilation Sleepers, Poets, Scientists. Her new album Bored From Perfectionism, out on Toysop Records, is an experimental work — raw, spontaneous, and recorded entirely in one live session.
Sacrament Grym — a sound artist and composer working in experimental and ambient music. His works shift between rough and airy states, blending field recordings, synthetic textures, and gentle rhythmic structures.
Varar — an electro-acoustic folk-ambient project from Armenia, created by Mari Margaryan (qanun) and Narek Buniatyan (electronics). Their collaboration explores the intersection of future and past, synthetic and natural, creating ethereal soundscapes where tradition transforms into resonance and light.
