Field / Morning Lady

Fields are places where decisions are made; they are free and without judgement. They represent life and death. The decision-maker is someone else. Our world is a field that is born from our inner field. From love and fear. They meet like on a battlefield and give birth to longings, hopes, despair and violence. What is sown is reaped. A playing field for a free spirit that does not know who it is or where it belongs, in search of love. With its limited field of senses it stands between an infinite inner and an infinite outer world and, in its fragility, is on the constant way home and in search of healing and is prepared to kill for it. But in the end it remains the observer, in a field of silence and vastness.

The project is a winner of the Per Forma grant program developed by Kyiv Contemporary Music Days with the support of the Performing Arts Fund NL and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, aimed at developing the performing arts sector in Ukraine.
