A specialization program for practicing psychologists.
The course is designed for Gestalt therapists, Gestalt practitioners, and psychotherapists from other therapeutic approaches.
The program enables practicing psychologists to deepen and enrich the theoretical foundations of experimentation in Gestalt therapy, explore different classifications of experiments, and understand their role within the therapeutic process. The course focuses on developing the psychotherapist’s creative resources and expanding their range of interventions.
You will learn:
how experiment is connected to dialogue and the contact cycle;
how to use Van Baalen’s phase model to structure experimental work.
Tools and Practical Work
During the course, you will gain specific tools for working with each type of contact interruption through experimentation. This includes targeted experiments for working with introjects, retroflection, projection, deflection, confluence, desensitization, and egotism.
Each type of contact interruption requires a specific approach, and you will learn how to select appropriate experimental interventions.
You will also learn how experimentation is integrated into the context of the therapeutic relationship and how to apply a dialogical perspective during experiments. This will help you avoid technical difficulties and maintain contact with the client throughout the process.
The program consists of 5 three-day training modules (120 hours).
