He bore the name of the God of Love and dedicated his entire life to the love of people. Theater was his idol, his hope, and his destiny. With extraordinary artistry, a mesmerizing voice, and magnetic charisma, he earned the deep admiration of audiences and created a remarkable era in Georgian theater. His name was Erosi, and in 2025, he would have turned 100 years old.
On March 17, at the Rustaveli National Theatre, theater scholar Nikoloz Tsulukidze, director Tinatin Kordzaze, artist Ana Ninua, composer David Tavazze, choreographer Gigi Loria, and video director Gvantsa Meparishvili will share the story of Erosi Manjgaladze—a man who loved life immensely.
