Nothing captures the Christmas and New Year spirit quite like music.
On December 25, in the Grand Hall of the Conservatory, audiences will experience a concert by renowned Georgian pianist working abroad — Professor at the University of Alabama, Artistic Director of the Toradze International Music Festival, and the first Georgian Yamaha Artist — Edisher Savitski, together with the Gia Kancheli Tbilisi Youth Orchestra of the National Palace.
Since 2019, the Youth Orchestra has presented numerous impressive concerts in Georgia and around the world. The ensemble is led by a young but already internationally acclaimed conductor, Mirian Khukhunaishvili, who in 2025 was appointed Music Director of the Wrocław Opera.
The “Christmas Concert” program includes:
• L. v. Beethoven — Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major, Op. 73, Emperor, a work critics often call “exceptionally regal”;
• Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4.
