Don’t leave your room! This garbage is enough for you, isn’t it?! Especially when beyond us there is neither Europe nor Asia — only hopelessness.
Because the neo-feudal capitalist enslaves young people; because the only path left is self-employment, and even that means leaving the country; because salaries will never rise above twenty lari; because hunger is a reality, education is a privilege, and self-expression is labelled “propaganda.” Artists are dying not of cultural hunger, but from a lack of bread.
So you too —
don’t leave your room
until
you
take action!
Based on real stories, the performance is interactive, provocative, and ironic.
It tells the tragic stories of five people with different professions, backgrounds, and life experiences, while examining Georgia’s social, cultural, and economic reality from the perspective of its younger generation.
The performance explores individual madness and collective courage, asking what remains today of the ideals of independence and what creates the human resistance that, despite everything, keeps us in action and ultimately brings us out of our rooms.
