As part of the "Mental Health" lecture series, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon talk with psychiatrist Ketevan Silagadze.
Although awareness of depression and anxiety disorders has significantly increased over the past decade — especially in the post-pandemic era — leading to more timely diagnosis and proper treatment, both conditions remain major challenges for mental health and the healthcare system as a whole.
The spread of invalid and unverified information, stigma in both medical and non-medical communities, delays in seeking professional help, and many other factors hinder timely recognition and complicate treatment and support processes.
The aim of this meeting is to once again draw the audience’s attention to anxiety and depressive disorders within the framework of the mental health lecture series.
Event partner – Integra, the Mental Health Center of the Academy of Thinking.
Guests will enjoy a buffet and a pleasant atmosphere.
Attendance is available both in person and online via Google Meet.
Duration of the session: 2–3 hours.
