Critical Mass is a form of cycling activism: cyclists gather and ride through the streets along a specific route.

The idea is based on an old Latin proverb - "Safety in numbers", the more we move together, the less dangerous cars pose. The meeting is held once a month, on the last Friday of the month, in many countries around the world.

A giant bicycle sculpture is standing in Tbilisi's First Republic Square. It is approximately 10 meters in height and 20 meters in length. The bicycle has two handlebars and two seats facing each other. Its author is the French sculptor Jean Dupi.
