Description

"The Lullaby Power" – a puppet show based on the story by Georgian writer Iakob Gogebashvili. A Georgian family – a mother, father, and their only daughter Keto... Keto's carefree and happy childhood ends when two raiders take her away from her home and sell her to a kind but childless family in Dagestan. The performance, built on Georgian musical themes, reveals the extraordinary transformation of a Georgian girl into a Dagestani one, while the power of the Georgian lullaby "Iavnana" awakens Keto's forgotten childhood memories. The main character of the show is the story's author, Iakob Gogebashvili, who narrates the tale directly to the audience. The play is designed for viewers aged 4 and up.
