Description

Adolescence is a stage when major changes begin in a child’s inner world.
Behind what may seem like “difficult behavior” often lie emotional chaos, identity exploration, inner struggles, and important psychological processes. That is why communicating with teenagers during this period requires special knowledge, sensitivity, and care.

We invite you to an important meeting at the author’s writing school “Faskunji” by Guram Megrelishvili — highly recommended for parents, teachers, psychology students, and anyone interested in psychology and child development.

This will be a space where you will gain valuable insights into a teenager’s inner world and the underlying causes that often manifest in behavior, протест, emotional shifts, and relationship difficulties.

During adolescence, we often observe decreased motivation, concentration difficulties, conflicts, lowered self-esteem, and emotional instability. Understanding these processes and building trust-based relationships with teenagers is crucial for both parents and educators.

This topic will be presented by
Doctor of Psychology, Professor Zurab Vakhania, with extensive experience in psychology and education. His approach combines academic depth with practical expertise, making this meeting especially meaningful.

The meeting will be held in an open dialogue format.
We will discuss real-life challenges, explore practical examples, and answer the questions that concern parents and teachers the most.

This is not just a lecture —
it is a space for sharing perspectives, experiences, and new insights.

Location

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
