A new, widely discussed A24 horror film from yet another young YouTuber, Kane Parsons, based on the creepypasta about an endless labyrinth of empty rooms.
When unsuccessful furniture salesman Clark discovers a hidden portal to another dimension in the basement of his store, he becomes trapped inside an infinite maze of winding yellow corridors.
The original meme, posted anonymously on a forum and later inspiring this and many other adaptations, read:
“If you’re not careful and you fall out of reality in the wrong place, you’ll end up in the Backrooms, where there is nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of humming fluorescent lights, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it has surely already noticed you.”
