Art History Lecture: “Francisco Goya. The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters”

On July 17, we invite you to an art history lecture titled “Francisco Goya. The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters.” The lecture will be delivered by Nikolay Dulkin — a graduate of Stroganov Academy, a hereditary art historian, and a charismatic, engaging speaker.

The Tbilisi lecture will focus on one of the earliest Romantic artists — Francisco Goya. But who was he really? A court painter turned exile? A painter who became famous for his etchings? The lover of the Duchess of Alba or a helpless man suffering from syphilis?
