Lewis Carroll’s "Alice in Wonderland" is one of the most outstanding literary works of all time. Interest in it never fades—it only continues to grow.
On the stage of the Batumi Professional State Puppet and Youth Theater, this story will be presented in a completely new and unique interpretation.
Alice is a Japanese teenage girl who, one day, while talking to artificial intelligence, realizes that she is tired and longs to return to her childhood. This marks the beginning of her extraordinary journey. As she meets various characters from the story, Alice feels disappointed because no one recognizes her, and all of them point out the same issue within her. She begins to reflect on this and eventually discovers that the real change has happened within herself.
The performance incorporates various types of puppetry, creating a distinctive and mesmerizing experience. Original music, a modern reinterpretation of the text, and the skillful acting of the performers seamlessly blend together, painting a world where the audience embarks on a journey through Wonderland alongside Alice.
The play explores relevant and thought-provoking themes, such as the challenges of adolescence, perception of the world, self-exploration, and self-discovery.
