From April 3, 2024, the cycle of educational programs "Easter-Spring Holiday" will begin in the Ilia Chavchavadze Literary-Memorial Museum of Tbilisi Museums.
The participants of the program will learn about various, interesting and unusual customs related to the Easter holiday in different countries of the world, including:
- How Easter and spring holidays were celebrated in the corners of Georgia and in old Tbilisi;
- What is "Chona" and what does Bilbo have to do with the resurrection;
- What is the meaning of "explosion of the cart" and the tradition that dates back 350 years;
- why and where do they throw clay pots on the Easter holiday;
- Who was Peter Carl Faberge and what makes his Easter eggs stand out.
