Description

The International Arts Festival named after Soso Lagidze, Tbilisi Rhythm, traditionally continues to present internationally acclaimed artists and innovative projects in the capital.

For the first time this year, the festival will host a theatrical production — “After the Rehearsal”, based on the play by Ingmar Bergman and staged by director Mikheil Mrevlishvili.

The performance will take place on May 16 at the Tbilisi Municipal Theatre named after Sandro Mrevlishvili.

The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, Creative Georgia, and the City Hall of Tbilisi.

The festival is organized by the production company Tagi Art.

Tbilisi Municipal Theater named after Sandro Mrevlishvili is located at 19 Rustaveli Ave. It is the successor of the state "Metekhi Theater" (since 2007 - "Globus") founded in 1974. Our repertoire is diverse. The hall can accommodate 40 spectators. This does not limit the interesting spatial view at all. The chamber space and the proximity of the audience and the actors determine the rules of the game: "The actor's art in the palm of the viewer's hand". Art director is Mikheil Mrevlishvili.
