After death, people arrive in a kind of purgatory, where they are asked to recall the single most impactful moment of their lives. That memory will be recreated on film — and in that film, they will continue to exist forever. But the task is far from simple: some can't remember anything at all and must review video footage of their entire life, while others cling to every tiny, insignificant detail.
The film crew responsible for recreating these memories is made up of those who, for now, have failed to choose a defining moment of their own.
