A Man Escaped

Genius simplicity is a loud yet precise description of this film. There’s no complex plot or intrigue. The title is the main spoiler. Did the condemned man escape? Don’t doubt it, he did. One might think that’s where we can part ways – this isn’t “The Shawshank Redemption.” But here’s where the magic of cinema begins, a spirit that wafts wherever it pleases.
