On April 16 at 16:00, the Philology Club of Tbilisi State University will host another session of its ongoing seminar series “Talks on Literature and Art.”
🔹 As part of the event, a public lecture will be delivered by Professor Rusudan Nishnianidze on the topic:
“20th Century Georgian Literature and the Story of Georgia.”
🔹 The event will take place at Tbilisi State University, Building I, Room 202.
🔹 Admission is free.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Georgia. It was founded on February 8, 1918 (January 26 according to the Old Style), on the feast day of David the Builder, in Tbilisi, in the building of the former gymnasium.
On September 3 of the same year, it was officially named Tbilisi State University. At that time, it was the first and only university in the entire Caucasus.
