Description
The Black & White Film Photography Workshop is a two-day creative immersion into the analog process, held over the weekend. It’s perfect both for yourself — to try something new, broaden your skills, or simply spend time in a creative atmosphere — and as a thoughtful, memorable gift for someone special. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced photographers: the program is adapted to each participant’s level, and the theory is provided exactly as much as needed.
On the first day, you’ll go through the entire process from setting up the camera to receiving your own negative. You’ll learn the basics of exposure, lighting, and composition, and then move on to practice — photographing each other and experimenting with different approaches. After shooting, you’ll get acquainted with the development process: how the equipment and chemistry work, and you’ll develop your film yourself. By the end of the day, your negatives will be ready.
On the second day, you’ll enter the darkroom for the first time and watch how an image appears on light-sensitive paper during the printing process. You’ll learn to work with the equipment and chemical solutions and print photographs from your own negatives. Each print is fully handmade — a unique result you’ll take home with you.
You can choose the full two-day program or join for just one of the days. In either case, it’s a valuable opportunity to experience analog photography from the inside — a meaningful experience both for yourself and as an original, memorable gift.
