Once Upon a Time There Was a Singing Blackbird

A young man wanders around the city, trying to help everyone, trying to be kind to everyone, and never finding a moment to work. Gia is a composer but works in an opera orchestra and plays an instrument that does not require his constant presence - the cymbals. You have to strike them once - then a long pause, sometimes until the final act. And then you have to come on time to strike them again in the finale. In between all this, he manages to commit many strange and foolish acts for which everyone inexplicably loves him.

In the Soviet Union, the film was criticized and initially banned because the main character is lazy. However, it was eventually released two years later.
