Description

We invite you on a virtual journey to Paris — to the legendary Rue Cambon and the home of Chanel.

You will ascend the famous mirrored staircase and step into a mysterious and captivating world — the private apartment of Mademoiselle Gabrielle Chanel.

This is a space where every object served as a source of inspiration and a guardian of her secrets. Her treasured talismans and travel souvenirs, books and symbols of success, lacquered screens, lions — all the elements that became an inseparable part of her inner universe.

Behind each of these objects lies a story: memories of distant journeys and meaningful friendships, a deep fascination with the East and with mysticism.

This journey through her apartment offers a rare opportunity to explore the complex and fascinating personality of Gabrielle Chanel, understand how her legendary style was shaped, and decode the symbols and visual language that defined her creative vision.

Location

Tbilisi Marriott Hotel
The Tbilisi Marriott Hotel is a luxury five-star hotel located on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, Georgia. Built as a high-class hotel on the commission of the wealthy Armenian merchant Mikael Aramyants, it was opened in 1915 as Hôtel Majestic. During World War I, from 1915 to 1917, the hotel accommodated a military hospital before it could be opened for the public. After the Soviet invasion of Georgia, the building was transferred into Trade Palace for workers. In February 1939, the refurbished building was restored to its original function as Hotel Tbilisi. Heavily damaged by fire during the December 1991–January 1992 coup d'etat, a prelude to the Georgian Civil War, it was reconstructed from 1995 to 2002. On 26 September 2002, a Marriott Hotel was opened in the building.
