Description

Tbilisi's First Charity Contemporary Art Exhibition & Auction

For the first time in Tbilisi, a charity contemporary art exhibition and auction will bring together Georgian artists who will donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of their artworks to charity.

Join us for an inspiring evening where art meets purpose. Business leaders, art professionals, and guests will come together to support the beneficiaries of the Saint Andrew Foundation and the Transfiguration Foundation.

Curated by a professional contemporary art curator, the exhibition "When I Realized I Could Fly" explores the transformative moment when an artist discovers their true self, finds the courage to follow their own path, and realizes they are capable of soaring.

Each artwork tells a unique story of self-discovery, perseverance, and inner freedom.

The project is supported by leading business representatives, art collectors, and partners who share the values of social responsibility and cultural development.

Join us for an unforgettable evening that brings together inspiring art, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to create real social impact.

Location

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
