Poppy, a writer from New York, and her longtime friend Alex spent their holidays together for nine consecutive years — until one day they had a falling out. Two years later, Poppy wants to reunite with Alex and travels to Barcelona to do so. Reunited, they relive their shared adventures, recall old grievances, and begin to wonder whether they should become a couple.
