In Search of the Beast Lizard

A few months ago, Tanya and Dima returned to Georgia from Indonesia, having hitchhiked over 50,000 kilometers in a year, visiting 11 countries, and experiencing countless exciting adventures.

They slept on the shores of the Sea of Japan with biker-poachers, traveled across Thailand in the back of pickup trucks, searched for orangutans and giant Rafflesia flowers in Borneo, marveled at fried dogs in Vietnamese markets, drank beer with Buddhist monks in the mountains of Tibet, got lost in the dusty storms of the Taklamakan Desert, sang in the rains of Sumatra, and lived among Uyghur Sufis and Javanese mystics.

Next Monday, they will share their travel stories and give practical advice on how to hitchhike from Georgia to Indonesia – hassle-free and completely free of charge.
