Peach and Nectarine Blossoms in Kakheti!
The peach and nectarine trees in Kakheti are in full bloom! It's absolutely beautiful! Since the blossoms won't last long, let’s catch the moment!
Join us for a wine tasting and a tour of iconic places!
The trip will be led by our friend Mikhail, a true Tbilisi native who has been organizing tours, hikes, and travel experiences for over 10 years. He’s an energetic and incredibly engaging guide!
We’ll visit stunning spots where the peach and nectarine trees are currently blooming—one of the most vibrant blooms in Georgia! Every spring, we catch these beautiful moments. Be ready to take lots of photos; we know some of you are already preparing several outfits!
We’ll stop at the famous Tsinandali Prince’s estate, where Griboedov stayed and where his beautiful wife, Nina Chavchavadze, grew up. Learn about the romantic and tragic history of this family. Explore the antique interiors, household items, portraits, musical instruments, and the magnificent park! Plus, there’s a surprise from the guide—an interesting location hidden from many!
Next, we’ll stop at the scenic Gombori Pass, 1620 meters above sea level!
We’ll enjoy a FREE wine tasting at the Vaziani Winery. This is the most exciting tasting we’ve ever had! One of the best sommeliers will tell us about the history of the winery and the technology behind wine production. (Honestly, we ran out of wine at home, so we decided to buy a couple more boxes during this trip. The wine starts at 10-12 lari with a French cork.)
We’ll also visit the town of Telavi, the capital of the Kakheti Kingdom and the administrative center of Kakheti. We’ll explore the fortress of King Irakli II, the Nadikvari park, and of course, the natural treasure—a nearly 800-year-old plane tree (which even saw Queen Tamar during its time)!
There will be a delicious lunch in Telavi (lunch is not included in the price).
