While the weather in Tbilisi is still good, we’re hosting a series of plein air sessions with Maria Mizernitskaya to draw from life, explore the space, and learn to see it in a new way — first in daylight, then in the soft evening twilight.
We’ll start with simple exercises and gradually move to longer works. We’ll go from general impressions to details, from observation to interpretation.
The plein air lasts 2.5–3 hours, and you’ll get to try different approaches:
quick short sketches
gradual buildup of details
final long drawing (30–40 minutes)
Any materials are welcome: draw by hand or use a tablet with Procreate. The main thing is the desire to look, explore, and not be afraid to experiment.
