Urban Kids Camp Session: “Wonders of Bionics. Robotics and Biology”

Do your children love robots and modern technology? Or maybe they’re more into animals and nature? Or both? Either way, this camp session is for them! Flying robo-bats, silk-spinning goats, geckos in engineering, drilling machines — and much more.

Together with biologist Alexey Sivukhin, we’ll explore amazing living creatures whose unique features have inspired scientists. And with engineer Anton Bredikhin from the children’s robotics and coding club Kibertr0n (Instagram), we’ll recreate models of these creatures using Lego WeDo 2.0, program them, and bring them to life.

We’ll discover which technologies inspired by nature already exist, and which are still in development. And thanks to our Exotarium, kids will not only hear about these fascinating creatures but meet many of them in person and see the features that inspired engineers.
Maybe someone will spot something new and create a prototype of their own!
