What are archetypes and how can they help us?
Archetypes are primal forces (original energies or archetypal powers) with great potential for growth. They are complexes of experience that emerged at a time when consciousness had not yet developed thought, but merely perception.
Each archetype embodies specific qualities.
According to Jung, these energetic archetypes are stored in the deep layers of our psyche, in our core memory, and they manifest through instinctive patterns of behavior and reaction that are consistent across different cultural and linguistic contexts.
