Brink of Life

Ingmar Bergman's intimate film, in which he manages to explore a woman's relationship with motherhood using a limited space and a small number of characters, conveys more than volumes and endless magazines dedicated to this theme. The director examines the crossroads of life when everything changes once and for all, highlighting the pivotal event of giving birth. Here, three situations are presented, showcasing the perspectives of three different women lying in the same hospital room.
