Tbilisi Drama Theater named after Sandro Akhmeteli is a drama theater in Tbilisi, in the Gldani district. The theater is located on Akakia Vasadze Street. The theater building was built in the classical Baroque style. The Tbilisi Drama Theater was founded in 1981 by director Leri Paksashvili. In 1987, the theater was named after the outstanding theater director Sandro Akhmeteli.
