Truso Gorge. Hike and Tour with a Biologist
If you haven’t been to Truso Gorge yet, make sure to join us and fill this gap! Truso Gorge, also known as the Valley of Narzans, is an amazing place. On our hike, we will explore abandoned Ossetian villages and pastures, admire the stunning nature of the Greater Caucasus, visit numerous mineral springs (around 60), a mineral lake with drinkable water, and of course, the unique travertines — the signature feature of Truso.
With our guide-biologist Alexey Sivukhin, we will learn about the alpine and subalpine flora that you won’t find around Tbilisi. The gorge is located at 2000 meters above sea level, providing unique natural conditions.
The route is long but easy, with almost no elevation changes.
